Samsung has formally unveiled the Galaxy Book 5 series, the company's newest line of AI-powered laptops and the next iteration of its Galaxy Book series. These new devices offer robust performance, intelligent AI-powered capabilities and a long battery life, making them suitable for professionals, students and creatives alike.

The Galaxy Book5 lineup includes three models:

• Galaxy Book5 Pro
• Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 ( 2-in-1 convertible)
• Galaxy Book5 360

Each of these laptops comes with Intel’s latest Core Ultra processors, which offer faster speeds and better power efficiency than previous models. However, Samsung's latest AI technologies, which enhance the user experience in some intriguing ways, are what really set these laptops apart.

Samsung is betting big on AI and the Galaxy Book5 series is proof of that. Here are some of the AI-powered features that you will find with the Galaxy Book 5 series laptops:

• AI Select: Quickly search and extract information from anywhere on the screen, similar to the 'Circle to Search' feature on Samsung Galaxy smartphones.
• Photo Remaster automatically enhances and sharpens images using AI.
• Microsoft Copilot+: Samsung has added a dedicated Copilot+ key for instant access to Microsoft's AI assistant, which can help with researching, writing, scheduling and presentations.

Performance and battery life

Under the hood, the Galaxy Book 5 series is powered by Intel Core Ultra processors featuring powerful NPUs up to 47 tops. These chips promise 17 per cent better graphics performance and 16 per cent faster processing speeds than their predecessors.

Battery life is another strong point—Samsung claims that the Galaxy Book 5 series can last up to 25 hours on a single charge. And if you're running low, fast charging can get you up to 41 per cent battery in just 30 minutes.

Display and audio

Display is where Samsung shines, be it smartphones or laptops. The Galaxy Book 5 Pro models come with dynamic AMOLED 2X displays featuring 3K resolution and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The Vision Booster technology ensures excellent visibility, even in bright environments.

Audio lovers won’t be disappointed either—the Quad Speaker system with Dolby Atmos delivers immersive sound for both entertainment and work calls.

Connectivity
