Poco M7 Pro 5G And Poco C75 5G Budget Phones Released Before Xmas 2024

Poco has introduced two budget smartphones: the Poco M7 Pro 5G and the Poco C75 5G. The Poco M7 Pro 5G is powered by a MediaTek chipset while the Poco C75 5G is powered by a Snapdragon SoC.

The market for budget smartphones is growing in India and selecting a smartphone is becoming as difficult as selecting the best food on the streets of Delhi. It looks like the world is demanding more budget smartphones than a better AQI and to match the demand-supply chain, Poco has introduced two new 5G smartphones, the Poco M7 Pro 5G and the Poco C75 5G.

These budget Android phones run Xiaomi's HyperOS-based Android 14 out-of-the-box. The brand has used the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset in the M7 Pro and the Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 SoC in the Poco C75 5G. Both models also sport a 50-megapixel main image sensor.

The Poco M7 Pro 5G features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The peak brightness of the screen can go up to 2,100 nits and is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The smartphone gets its processing power from the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra and it is paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB onboard storage. The smartphone comes with HyperOS-based Android 14 out of the box.

In terms of optics, the Poco M7 Pro 5G comes with dual camera sensors on the back. The main sensor is a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 and the secondary sensor is a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The smartphone also comes with a 20-megapixel front-facing camera. The Poco M7 Pro is equipped with stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.

Under the hood, the Poco M7 Pro 5G comes with a 5,110mAh battery. The smartphone supports 45W wired fast charging to juice up the battery via a USB Type-C port. Like all budget smartphones, it comes with all the basic features like 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, GLONASS and a 3.5mm audio jack. The Poco M7 Pro also comes with an IP64 rating to save the phone from dust and water.

The Poco C75 5G features a 6.88-inch HD+ 720p display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The display offers up to 600 nits of peak brightness. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage. It is running on Android 14-based HyperOS.

In terms of optics, the Poco C75 comes with a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 5-megapixel front-facing sensor. The smartphone is packed with a 5,160mAh battery and is supported with an 18W wired charger. The Poco C75 5G comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and is protected with an IP52 rating. In terms of connectivity, the Poco C75 is similar to the Poco M7 Pro 5G.

The Poco M7 Pro 5G comes with a starting price of INR 14,999 for the variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage. The 8GB and 256GB storage variant is priced at INR 16,999. The M7 Pro 5G comes in three colour variants, including Lavender Frost, Lunar Dust and Olive Twilight.

The Poco C75 5G comes with a price tag of INR 7,999 for the variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. This smartphone also comes in three colours, namely Aqua Blue, Enchanted Green and Silver Stardust.

Both smartphones can be purchased via Flipkart. The Poco M7 Pro 5G will go on sale on December 20 and the Poco C75 5G will be available from December 19.
