Display: It sports a 6.67’’ HD display and here we feel, Realme has done cost-cutting, 4G phones are available with Full HD display in this price range but the display feels smooth because of 120Hz refresh and 240Hz touch sampling rate. It has only 625 nits brightness which may feel less in direct sunlight.
Build and Ports: Realme C65 has a plastic body and plastic back panel, borrowed from the Realme 12 ‘Light feather design’. There is a circular design camera module. On the right, we get a power key to switch on/off the phone and one volume rocker button. On top, it comes with a triple-slot SIM tray. You can activate two 5G SIM cards at the same time ( Dual Sim - Dual Standby). We get two colour options- Feather Green and Glowing Black.
Performance and Battery: Mostly, get MediaTek processors in this price range and Realme C65 comes with MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC which is good enough for your daily tasks, average gaming performance, and basic entertainment. This chipset is paired with Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU and LPDDR4x RAM. The base variant comes with only 4GB. Out of the box, we get the latest Android 14 covered with Realme UI 5.0.
Realme C65 has a standard 5000mAh Quick Charge battery, you get more than 10 hours of SOT (Screen On Time) because of the 720p display and 6nm chipset.
It has some features like minimum 1nit brightness and variable 50Hz/60Hz/90Hz/120Hz refresh rate. You can select a lower refresh rate to save more battery.
Dynamic Island 2.0: Earlier Realme launched the C55 phone with the Apple-like 'Dynamic Island' but with a short kick. Unlike Apple phones, the C55 doesn't have this feature on the hardware level but Realme has utilized the UI to show Dynamic Island. The newer software-based 'Dynamic Island' version is more refined and responsive on the Realme C65.
Speakers and Jack: We usually get the single speaker in budget segment smartphones and the story is the same with Realme C65 but interestingly it supports a 3.5mm jack.
Closing Words
Overall, If you are looking for a basic 5G phone, this one can be your perfect purchase but in case you need a performance phone, skip this one and add more bucks, and get a phone with a minimum 2.7GHz processor.
