So, let’s delve into the offerings of the top variant of the Bajaj Pulsar N160.
Features
As mentioned earlier, the newly added offering is the top-most variant of the Pulsar N160. The added features comprise a turn-by-turn navigation, and three ABS modes (Road, Rain and Off-Road). These ABS modes give access to the rider to set a preferred braking intervention level depending on the situation.
Unlike the rest of its variants with chrome-finished USD, this new iteration is exclusive to the gold-finished upside-down (USD) forks, placed at the front.
Besides that, the rest of the features are carried over from the mid-variant of the Pulsar N160.
Having said that, this bike continues to offer a digital instrument cluster, which houses information, such as navigation, SMS/call alerts, speed with RPM, distance made, time, distance-to-empty, fuel level, and average fuel economy, to name a few.
It also has a split-seat setup, USB charging port, ride modes (Road, Rain and Off-Road), LED lights (front and rear), LED DRLs, self-start, and connected bike technology (telematics).
Specifications
In this department, the Bajaj Pulsar N160 is retained. It continues to be powered by a 164.82cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine, which is tuned to churn out 15.68bhp at 8750rpm and 14.65Nm of peak torque at 6750rpm.
This homegrown 160cc bike is mated to a standard five-speed manual transmission.
Further, the top variant of the 2024 Pulsar N160 stands on USD forks at the front and Nitrox monoshock at the rear. The braking duties are taken care of by disc brakes at the front and rear. For added safety, it is equipped with a dual-channel ABS.
In addition, this bike has a tyre profile of 100/80 R17 and 130/70 R17 at the front and rear, respectively.
To store fuel, the Pulsar N160 has a tank capacity of 14 litres.
