Amidst the rising fuel prices, CNG has already penetrated the three and four-wheeler markets, but now it will enter the two-wheeler market, as well.

One of the most anticipated CNG-powered two-wheelers is the upcoming Bajaj bike. The recently-circulated images of the anticipated bike hinted that it will have two variants. Moreover, Bajaj’s first-ever CNG bike might be called the ‘Bruzer.’

So, let’s see what offerings this upcoming CNG bike is expected to have.

What things are expected?

Firstly, the upcoming CNG Bajaj bike is undergoing thorough testing, plus these spied images have been circulated online quite often. As mentioned above, the images hinted that this bike is expected to have two variants.

As for the appearance, this bike resembles a typical commuter bike with a circular headlamp, bulb indicators, a flyscreen, and a long, flat single-piece seat, alongside a standard exhaust tip.

In parallel, the more imposing variant, which might be the top variant boasts some distinctive offerings, such as a sump guard, an elevated braced handlebar, and knuckle guards.

As for the market positioning, it is yet to be declared which segment it will enter. However, as per industry news, the indigenous automobile manufacturer might make the CNG setup work with the 110cc or 125cc unit. But it is unlikely that the upcoming CNG bike will work with a 110cc engine because CNG versions have a lower engine output than their petrol counterparts, thereby it might have a 125cc engine.

Furthermore, the Bajaj Bruzer (yet to have an official name) might feature a CNG cylinder beneath its long single-piece seat, and a fuel tank. Besides that, it is expected to offer a telescopic fork at the front, mono-shock at the rear, and disc and drum brakes at the front and rear, respectively.

What is the expected price?

Before its launch on June 18, we cannot confirm the competitors. But, considering the available information on the Bajaj CNG bike, it might be priced under Rs 90,000, ex-showroom. This CNG two-wheeler might rival the TVS Radeon, Hero Splendor Plus, Honda Shine 100, and Bajaj Platina, to name a few.
