Honda Activa is a name that does not need any introduction in India. This scooter has always been amongst one of the top-selling two-wheelers in the country. Now as the world shifts towards electric mobility, the brand is ready to present its electric avatar on November 27.
Ahead of the reveal, the brand has released a few teasers before its official debut, giving out significant design and feature details about the scooter. So let’s delve into it and see how good this electric avatar is for the segment leader.
The brand hasn't yet confirmed the name of the scooter. It is rumoured to be known as Activa Electric to take advantage of the legacy of the Activa nameplate in India. Since Honda and Activa both are known for their bulletproof reliability, this electric scooter is expected to boost EV two-wheeler adoption in the market.

The biggest highlight from this teaser is that the scooter displays a riding range of 104km on a 100 per cent battery. Now this could be a big deal for Indian buyers since the CUV e: scooter has a claimed range of only 72km, which is not on par with any electric scooter in the segment. However, it is still unknown whether the scooter will have a removable battery like the CUV e: or a permanently fixed battery like others in the segment.

Some other basic features like USB charging and CBS (combined braking system) for safety are also expected to be present on the scooter.
