Flipkart Big Billion Day 2024 sale will be live from September 26 for Flipkart Plus members. Flipkart has revealed its top smartphone deals for the BBD sale and Pixel 8 is one of them. The Google Pixel, that was launched in India for Rs 75,999, will be available at its lowest price of Rs 31,999 during the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale. Should you consider buying it now in 2024? We break down the deal for you. 

Google Pixel 8 Specifications

Google Pixel 8 is a camera-centric smartphone, powered by Google’s homegrown Tensor G3 chipset, and comes with all the latest AI features, including Gemini, Magic Eraser, audio enhancements and more.

It sports a 6.2-inch OLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR 10+ support, FHD+ resolution, and 2000 nits peak brightness. Google has used Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection to protect the screen from any damage.

The Pixel 8 is powered by a 4nm-based Google Tensor G3 nine-core SoC paired with an Immortalis G715s MC10 graphic processor. The AnTuTu (version 10) benchmark score of the phone is 1,158,631 which is very close to that of Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. The device was launched with Andorid 14 out of the box and will recieve seven major Android upgrades. It will recieve software updates on the day of its launch. 

In terms of optics, the Pixel 8 features a dual camera setup on the rear consisting of a 50MP main and a 12MP ultrawide sensor. It also has a laser autofocus system to detect the distance of objects and focus. 

On the front side, the device sports a 10.5 MP selfie shooter with a f2.2 aperture. The Google Pixel 8 supports up to 4K 60fps video recording from rear and front cameras. The rear camera also supports 240fps slo-mo video recording at 1080p resolution.

Should You Buy Pixel 8?

No doubt the Google Pixel 8 deal is attractive at Rs 31,999 and if you have 10 supercoins in your Flipkart account, you can get it for Rs 29,999. At this price, it is a must buy for camera lovers. The best part about Pixel devices is their stock Android UI, timely Pixel updates, and latest AI features. The Tensor G3 is a capable SoC for most of your daily tasks, however gaming experience would not be nice on the device.
