The Amazon Great India Festival will start on September 26, 2024, competing against Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale. While iPhones are widely popular on Flipkart during the sale season, Amazon is bringing a deal that is hard to resist. Amazon will offer the iPhone 13 at an effective price of Rs 37,999 during the sale season. The smartphone was launched in September 2021, and now that it has been three years old, should you buy this? We break it down for you.

Apple iPhone 13 Specifications

The iPhone 13 flaunts a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display with a 60Hz refresh rate with a notch-shaped display, while the latest models come with a dynamic island.

The smartphone is powered by an Apple A15 Bionic chipset, which has an Antutu benchmark score of around 1,28,7587. According to Nanoreview.Net, this SoC is close to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. So, the processing power of the iPhone 13 is still comparable to other devices at this price point even after 3 years. Apple has packed a 3,240mAh battery pack inside the iPhone 13 that supports 20W wired and 15W wireless charging.

In terms of optics, the iPhone 13 features a dual rear camera setup. The main sensor is 12MP with f/1.6 aperture whereas the secondary unit is a 12MP ultra wide-angle camera with a 120 degree field of view. On the front, it has a 12MP selfie shooter that support 4K 60 fps format.

The iPhone 13 has received iOS 18 update already but will not support Apple Intelligence features like iPhone 16.

Should You Buy iPhone 13?

iPhone 13 still feels solid if someone wants to use it to make calls, scroll social media apps, or click pictures. The processing power of the iPhone 13 is still better than several Android phones in the sub-Rs 40,000 segment. Compared to iPhone 15, the iPhone 13 lacks a Dynamic Island, a higher-resolution camera, and USB-C feature.

If you can add more bucks in your wallet and purchase the iPhone 15 in Flipkart Big Billion Days, it would be value for money deal. However, if owning an iPhone is your goal, then iPhone 13 can be enough for everyday task.
