The Himalayan 450 is majestic. In a world of overtly complicated adventure tourers that seek more than just riding skills, Royal Enfield’s best off-roader motorcycle is sort of a throwback to the olden days. Its simplicity mashed with unrivalled neo-retro styling makes it such a desire for motorcycle enthusiasts.
It is not for everyone though. As attractive as the motorcycle is, the Himalayan 450 isn’t as accessible as some of its stablemates in the Royal Enfield garage. It offends short riders with a tall seating profile, has a thirsty engine, trickles down the inconvenience of old-school tube tyres (as standard) and a cumbersome driving experience.
Add to that a hefty price tag and the Himalayan 450 is not everyone’s cup of tea suddenly.
But hey, love comes in all shapes and sizes and tags along a lot of inconveniences. The marketing people at Royal Enfield understand that notion too. Hence, they came up with a Himalayan 450 that’s accessible in every way. Not only is it the cheapest Himalayan 450 one can buy, it can also be bought by anyone.
Anyone! Doesn’t require one to own a driving license or even know how to ride!
No, we aren’t taunting the millions on Indian roads minding their own business. Meet the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 toy.

Cheapest Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is here!
Other than making some of the most desirable motorcycles, Royal Enfield also makes riding gear, lifestyle apparel and accessories. Among the stylish keychains and helmets, a section of Royal Enfield’s online store also has some scaled-down toy models on offer.
So far, this section has had decorative replicas of the Meteor 350 and the Classic 350, the latter in the single-seat configuration. The Himalayan 450 joins this list as the third option.
Made by Maisto under license from Royal Enfield, this miniature Himalayan 450 showcases the meticulous details and the elegant road presence of the adventure off-roader. Available in Kamet White and Hanle Black colourways, this 1:12 scale model flaunts its artsy rendition of the Sherpa 450 engine and its loud upswept exhaust pipe, the massive radiator grille, the iconic circular LED headlamp with the tall flyscreen, the protective frame around the fuel tank and the trendy Tripper 2.0 digital speedometer.
The finish on those spoke wheels, especially on the Hanle Black variant, looks incredibly attractive. Sadly, there’s no option to equip these models with the new tubeless spoke wheels like the real deal.
How much does the Himalayan 450 1:12 scale model cost?
Unlike the version with a real fire-breathing engine, the 1:12 scale model is far more affordable for everyone. You can get either of the colour variants for INR 1,750. Be mindful of the stock availability since these are usually made in limited quantities.
The waiting period, hence, is almost on par with the one you’d buy from Royal Enfield showrooms.
We hope Royal Enfield's marketing team does the same for the recently announced models like the Shotgun 650, Bear 650 and the marvellous Goan Classic 350.
