Redmi Note 14 Series Launches In India For The Masses

Redmi has finally launched the latest iteration of its highly anticipated smartphone series, the Redmi Note 14. As per the tradition of the past few years, there are three devices: Note 14, Note 14 Pro, and Note 14 Pro Plus. 

The Redmi Note series has been the enthusiast's favourite entry-level smartphone ever since its inception. Devices like the Note 3, Note 5 Pro and Note 7 Pro have been some of the most iconic smartphones in this lineup and have been loved by the masses.

The Redmi Note series is known to bring high performance along with some high-end features. For example, Redmi introduced features such as an IP68 rating, 200-megapixel OIS camera, 120W superfast charging and more on the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ last year. Hence these new Note 14 series of smartphones are also expected to bring some innovative features.

Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus specifications

The Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus is equipped with a 6.67-inch 1.5K 120Hz curved AMOLED display with up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness. The device also gets an in-display fingerprint scanner and everything is protected under the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Other than this, the device focuses on the durability aspect. It gets shock absorption layers all around to protect itself from accidental damage. The device also has an IP66+IP68+IP69 rating and the back glass is Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

Powering the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. The device is running on the latest version of Android 14-based HyperOS with over 20 AI features.

As seen on its predecessors, the device boasts a 50MP main rear camera which uses the Light Hunter 800 sensor and gets OIS support. For the first time on a Note, the device gets a 50MP telephoto camera which is capable of 2.5X optical zoom. The device also gets a 12MP ultrawide as the third rear camera. To take care of the selfies and video chats, the device is equipped with a 20MP front camera

The device has a 6200mAh Silicon Carbon battery with solid electrolyte technology to make it compact, and it also gets 90W fast wired charging for quick top-ups.

Other noteworthy features of the device include a dual stereo speaker setup with Dolby atmos+Dolby vision, IP68 rating, NFC etc.

Redmi Note 14 Pro specifications

The Redmi Note 14 Pro gets a 6.67-inch 1.5K 120Hz curved AMOLED display with a claimed peak brightness of 3000 nits, an in-display fingerprint scanner and Gorilla glass Victus 2 protection on the front.

The device is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 7300 Ultra SoC and it is running the latest version of Hyper OS based on Android 14.

The device is equipped with a 50MP Sony LYT 600 main rear camera with OIS support along with an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro lens. The device gets a 50 MP front-facing camera to take care of selfies and video chats.

Powering the Redmi Note 14 Pro is a 5500mAh battery that supports 45W fast wired charging for top-ups. Other highlights of the Redmi Note 14 Pro include dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos+Dolby vision and IP68 rating.

Redmi Note 14 specifications

The entry-level Redmi Note 14 features a 6.67-inch flat AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution and a claimed peak brightness level of 2100 nits.

The device also gets an in-display fingerprint scanner and all this is protected under the Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The device also gets an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.

The Redmi Note 14 is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 7025 Ultra SoC and it is running the latest version of HyperOS, based on Android 14.

The device gets a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP macro lens. It has a 16MP front camera to take care of all the video chats and selfies.

The vanilla Redmi Note 14 draws its power from a 5110mAh battery which supports 45W fast wired charging. Other highlights of the Redmi Note 14 include a stereo speaker with Dolby Atmos support.
