Ray Ban Meta Smart Glasses
Meta has officially announced that its Ray-Ban Meta AI-powered smart glasses will become available in India soon. Though the company has not made an official announcement regarding its launch date, the news brings the next-gen smart glasses to India after nearly two years since the release of the initial Ray-Ban Stories.
Initially released in September 2023, the new Ray-Ban Meta glasses are intended for use without hands, so the wearer can access Meta AI for immediate information and help. Users can snap photos, listen to music, and get answers to their questions without needing to reach for their phone. According to Meta, the glasses are intended to keep users in the moment with friends and the environment, with both style and function.

This feature also supports offline use when the required language packs are downloaded beforehand.
Meta is also adding functionality with Instagram integration, enabling users to send and receive direct messages, photos, audio, and video calls from the glasses. Voice control of music is also being launched globally, with Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and Shazam support. Users can also request information about the music they're listening to from Meta AI.

With this release, Meta is positioning its smart glasses as a multi-purpose everyday wearable, blending AI capabilities with fashion-forward design.
