Leaked photos of the new Oppo Reno 14 have appeared online, providing an early look at the design of the smartphone. Posted by reliable tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the leaks indicate that Oppo may be drawing inspiration from previous iPhone designs—particularly the iPhone 12—in designing the Reno 14's appearance. The images highlight the rear camera module and side frame, suggesting a major design overhaul in the Reno line.
Oppo Reno 14 Expected Design
The rear panel of the purported Reno 14 has a flat white upper finish and an unusual 'R'-shaped camera setup. Two cameras are vertically placed, and the third sensor lies in a stand-alone capsule-shaped ring, alongside a triple LED flash. Chamfered edges and metal camera rings give the device a luxurious feel, again mimicking previous-generation iPhones.
Another photo gives us a glimpse of the side profile of the phone, revealing that both the volume and power keys are located on the same side of the phone, just below the camera module. The thin look fits in with previous reports that the Reno 14 will have a light, thin design based around a metal mid-frame.
One of the unclear features is the long-rumoured "Magic Cube" button, which some sources indicate may make its debut on the Reno 14 Pro version. It is not known if the regular Reno 14 will feature this function, as there are no indications of it in the leaked photos.
Oppo Reno 14 Expected Pricing
The Reno 14 should follow the high-quality construction of the Reno 13 series, which was released in India at ₹37,999. That series had aluminium frames and a slim design, which the Reno 14 can refresh while retaining the same premium orientation.
Oppo hasn't officially confirmed specs, prices, or a launch date for the Reno 14 series, but these leaks imply that the company is planning on launching a design-tight, premium-perceived smartphone that will attract those interested in iPhone-esque design along with Oppo's ecosystem. Official word will be out soon in the next few weeks.
