Oppo Reno 12 Series, OPPO AI Debuts in India

OPPO today launched its Reno 12 Series in India. The device consists of two models - OPPO Reno 12 and OPPO Reno 12 Pro. The devices also mark the debut of OPPO AI in India. OPPO has launched the AI wagon and it offers a lot of features including AI Eraser 2.0, AI Studio, AI Best Face, AI Recording Summary, AI Toolbox, AI LinkBoost, and more.

OPPO Reno 12 Series Specifications 

The Oppo Reno 12 Series is equipped with a 6.7-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1200 nits peak brightness, and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The Reno 12 has a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 7i whereas the Pro model has a layer of Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for display protection. 

Both devices are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy chipset. Other features of the device include Android 14-based ColorOS 14.1, OPPO AI, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, WiFi 6, an in-display fingerprint sensor, etc.

The Reno 12 boasts a triple camera setup at the rear consisting of a main 50MP sensor with OIS support, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, there is a 32MP sensor to take care of all your selfies and video calls.

The Reno 12 Pro, on the other hand, retains the primary and wide-angle camera of the vanilla model, however, it ditches the 2MP macro for a 50MP telephoto sensor. On the front, it has a 50MP sensor for selfies.

Both Oppo Reno 12 Series devices feature a 5000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. They have 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
