OPPO is all set to launch the F29 and F29 Pro smartphones, featuring a new Hunter Antenna Architecture that improves signal strength by 300 per cent. This aims to better connectivity, especially in areas with weak network signals, such as elevators, remote locations, and buildings with poor reception.

Advanced Antenna Design

The Hunter Antenna Architecture includes a 200mm fully wrapped antenna layout, covering 84.5% of the phone’s borders. According to Oppo, this design helps maintain strong and stable network connectivity, whether the phone is held vertically or horizontally. The 4x4 MIMO support extends to B40, B3, and B39 frequency bands, further improving download speeds and signal reception.

AI LinkBoost for Optimized Performance

The AI LinkBoost technology dynamically adjusts the network connection to reduce lag and signal drops. The system includes an elevator perception algorithm that detects weak signals and improves performance in real time. Additionally, the Game-Exclusive WiFi Antenna also ensures a stable internet connection even when both hands grip the phone. OPPO claims this feature provides a 151% improvement in gaming performance by reducing signal drop-offs.

The standard OPPO F29 runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 with an AnTuTu score of 6,50,000. Both smartphones feature 360° Damage-Proof Armour Body and IP69, IP68, and IP66 ratings, making them resistant to dust, water, and accidental drops.
