OnePlus 13T will be coming out soon, and some recent leaks have given a clear first look at the new smartphone. Two different leaks — a video of the white model and a photo of the black model — have appeared online, pointing towards a fundamental design change, especially concerning the camera module. There is also a light pink color variant expected, as per previous reports. While the phone still has a small form factor, it breaks from OnePlus's signature design language. The new camera module on the back looks similar to that of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold or even the Xiaomi Mi 11, which indicates a new visual identity.
Redesigned Camera Module and Build
The star of these leaks is the camera island. Unlike previous OnePlus phones, the module is subtly elevated, metal-framed, and features a squoval shape — a combination of oval and square. This new approach might be a one-off or the beginning of a new trend for the series. It's too soon to say which way the company will go.
A prior leak from tipster Digital Chat Station also showed what looks to be an official teaser image. The teaser announced a light design and big battery within the device. Louis Lee, OnePlus China President, further announced on Weibo that the phone would weigh as little as 185 grams, which is less than the OnePlus 13. Lighter but with a still substantial battery of more than 6,000mAh, reported to be in the device. Lee also attested to the existence of a metal frame and slightly curved edges.
Alert Slider Replaced with New Quick Key
Another major tweak is the absence of the signature Alert Slider. It is replaced with a Quick Key — an actionable button placed at the side of the phone. Similar to Apple's Action Button, the feature lets one quickly switch between sound modes or program custom shortcuts, more so than the default slider.

The phone is also expected to pack a 6,200mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging.
