Nothing Phone (2a) Plus Launched in India With 50MP Selfie Camera

Carl Pei's smartphone brand, Nothing has launched the Phone (2a) Plus in India. It is an upgraded version of the previously launched Phone (2a). The phone features the same design as the Phone (2a) including the glyph lighting. It is the first device to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro 5G.

The Nothing Phone (2a) has the Glyph Lighting around the camera module. The device has a metallic finish under its transparent back. 

The Phone 2(a) Plus flaunts a 6.7-inch OLED panel with FHD+ resolution, HDR10+, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1300 nits peak brightness. The display uses a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection.

The device features a newly launched MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro chipset. The latest SoC promises to offer a 3.0GHz clock speed instead of the 2.8GHz on the 7200 Pro chipset, found on the Nothing Phone (2a). It also gets a new 1.3GHz Mali-G610 MC4 GPU, which promises to offer 30% better performance than its predecessor. It packs a 5000mAh battery unit with 50W fast wired charging support. It runs NothingOS 2.6 based on Android 14.

Nothing has retained the dual rear 50MP camera setup from the Phone (2a) for the Plus model however it has ditched the old 32MP selfie camera for a new 50MP unit. All thanks to its new SOC, the Phone (2a) Plus supports 4K recording from its rear as well as the front.
