Nothing CMF Phone 2 Pro: Launch Teased with Bold Design and Upped Specs

Nothing is soon going to launch its new budget phone, the CMF Phone 2 Pro, under its CMF sub-brand. The launch event is on April 28, and ahead of the event, the company has officially released teasers giving a close-up look at the design and key features of the phone.

Sleek, Customizable Design

According to teasers on Flipkart and social media, the CMF Phone 2 Pro comes in two colors: a thin grey and CMF signature orange. Both colors have a unique dual-tone appearance, setting the phone apart. The design also hints at a removable back—screws on the back point to the fact that rear panels are removable and replaceable, a feature likely meant for customization.

Like the earlier one, the CMF Phone 2 Pro also appears to have an accessory point on the rear, with which users can attach a lanyard, wallet, or card holder. The front has a minimalist, symmetrical look with a hole-punch screen and even bezels on all sides. At the rear, it sports a triple-camera setup—two cameras vertically placed next to each other and one maintained off-center to the side, and an LED flash below them.

Nothing claims that the CMF Phone 2 Pro will boast the biggest and brightest screen in its price category, though pricing details have not been officially revealed yet.

Performance and AI Features

Internally, the CMF Phone 2 Pro is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chip. The processor offers an increase in CPU performance as well as a more enhanced graphics capability over the CMF Phone 1. It is optimized for both efficiency and speed, so it's an ideal choice for users who require smooth multitasking and gaming.

The key highlight among the most significant is the Essential Key, a hardware button that can be personalized to give instant access to a fresh AI-powered feature called Essential Space.
