India’s major telecom operators, Reliance Jio and Airtel announced up to 25 per cent hike in their tariffs that came into effect on July 3. This price hike also reduces the number of plans that offer free unlimited 5G. At the time of 5G launch, both telecom operators announced they will offer unlimited 5G with all plans that provide 1.5GB per day data or more. However, only users with 2GB per day data plan will now get free unlimited 5G data on Jio and Airtel.
