Regardless of the saturation the smartphone market is observing lately, Realme continues to dump more of its phones in India. Within weeks of launching the Realme 14 Pro series, the brand started teasing an all-new phone to appease gamers. While many were anticipating a high-end phone with a beefy chipset, Realme’s teaser confirmed a rather disappointing midrange device and that too under a new lineup, called the P series.
The first device is called the Realme P3 Pro and Realme touts it as a gaming phone aimed at the masses. As part of its marketing strategy, Realme has revealed what processor the phone will be utilising along with a couple of other specifications relevant to the gaming performance. That said, the leaks from industry insiders and tipsters have given us a wholesome idea of what you can expect from the phone once it launches in a couple of days.
Realme P3 Pro specifications at a glance
Realme is busy promoting the phone’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset as one of the key selling points of the P3 Pro. The Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 is based on the 4nm node and is essentially a successor to the rather midrange Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip. The chipset is good enough for carrying out basic tasks and casual gaming but is not recommended for hardcore gaming sessions where things like frame rates and texture quality matter.
It is indeed intriguing how Realme classifies the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 as a chip suitable for gaming! The teasers say that this midrange phone is certified for BGMI e-sports tournaments, which means there’s a lot of backend optimisation to extract the most performance.

Nonetheless, to keep gamers engaged, the Realme P3 Pro will feature a 6,000 mAh battery, which will rely on an 80W wired charging solution. A 6050 square millimetre vapour cooling chamber promises to keep the temperatures in check.
Other than these, unconfirmed leaks hint at a 50-megapixel main camera assisted by OIS for stability. This will be accompanied by another ultrawide camera – a standard affair for modern midrange phones. A 120 Hz OLED display is expected to make this a complete package.
Expected price of the Realme P3 Pro
The Realme P3 Pro is expected to carry a starting price of INR 25,000, thus undercutting the Redmi Note 14 Proseries and the Motorola Edge 50.
Realme P3 Pro launch date
Realme is launching the P3 Pro on 18 February 2025 – a timeframe that allows Realme to hog all the limelight ahead of Samsung bringing the next generation of its bestselling Galaxy A and Galaxy M series devices.
