Lava has confirmed the launch date for its upcoming mid-range 5G device, Agni 3. The company has teased the smartphone design via a video on its official YouTube channel. The teaser reveals that the phone will feature an 50MP OIS-enabled triple rear camera setup, a curved screen, and Dolby Atmos speakers.

Lava Agni 3 India Launch Date

Lava Agni 3 is launching on October 3, 2024 in India. The phone will continue the rounded-edge design seen in its predecessor, the Agni 2. The phone will be available via Amazon India, according to a micro-site on the e-commerce platform.

Lava Agni 3 Specifications, Expected Price in India

Based on the leaks, the Lava Agni 3 will feature a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD resolution. The device will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300X processor.

The standout feature of this smartphone will be a secondary display placed beside the camera module. The phone will also feature iPhone 15-like Action button on side frame. Based on the teaser, it could look similar to the Xiaomi 11 Ultra that also had a secondary display on the back. It will be the first time that will be seeing such a technology in the mid-range segment in India.

The teaser has already confirmed that the phone will feature a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). We expect the other two sensors to be sn 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP depth. The phone will run on stock Android, based on Lava UI, and will be powered by a 5000mAh battery.

Lava launched the Agni 2 for Rs 17,999, which was well-received at that price point. We can expect the Agni 3 to be priced under Rs 20,000, but for confirmed details and pricing, we’ll need to wait for Lava’s official announcement on October 4.
