Indian mobile manufacturer Lava is all set to introduce a new smartphone in the country. The phone named Lava Agni 3 will be the successor to the brand's popular budget smartphone Agni 2. The brand has not yet revealed the official launch date of the smartphone, however, according to the rumours it will launch in September. Here is everything we know about the upcoming Lava Agni 3.
Lava Agni 3 Expected Specifications, Price in India
According to tipster, Abhishek Yadav on X (@yabhishekhd), the Lava Agni 3 will have a tiny screen at the back, something similar to what we have seen on Xiaomi 11 Ultra. If true, this could be the first in its segment.
The same tipster suggests that the Lava Agni 3 will be powered by an old MediaTek Dimensity chipset. While there is no specific chipset mentioned, we expect it to be the Dimensity 7200. Another tipster Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz) suggests that it will have 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Furthermore, he suggests that the phone will be available or go on sale on September 13.

The Agni 3 is expected to boast a 2.5D curved 6.7-inch IPS LCD panel with 120Hz high refresh rate and 1080X2460 pixels resolution; all this is to be protected under the Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The smartphone is expected to arrive with a triple camera setup at the rear consisting of a 64MP sensor attached with a 13MP ultrawide and a 2MP depth sensor. The device will run nearly stock user interface based on Android 14.
The Lava Agni 2 was launched with a starting price of Rs 16,999 however, with the above-mentioned features, we expect Lava to bump the price of Agni 3. The Lava Agni 3 may start from Rs 19,999 in India.
