iPhone 16 Launch Date Leaked: What to Expect?

The iPhone 16 Series launch date has leaked. Apple annually releases their new iPhone series in September and the same is going to happen this year as well. According to a report from Bloomberg, the iPhone 16 will launch around the same time as the iPhone 15. The iPhone 15 was launched on September 12, 2023, so the iPhone 16 will launch on September 10, 2024, keeping in mind that Apple keeps its launch event on Tuesday. 

Apple's rival company, Google has already launched the Pixel 9 Series, and it’s the first time we have seen a Pixel number series launching before an iPhone launch. Here's everything you need to know about iPhone 16 launch date, sale date, and other details.

inside sources have shared that the launch event will likely be held on September 10th, pre-orders may begin on September 13th, and the official sales are supposed to be on the ground on September 20th.

iPhone 16 Sale and Launch Date: 

The iPhone 16 Series consists of four models: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. This could be the last Plus model iPhone since iPhone 17 series is expected to replace the Plus model with Slim. 

The report from Bloomberg states that the iPhone 16 Series launch event will likely held on September 10th and pre-orders for the latest models may begin on September 13th. The iPhone 16 Series shipping will start on September 20th.

This is the first time that Apple will assemble its most expensive model, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max in India at the time of launch. The retail box of the same has leaked online. 

The rumour mill suggests that the Pro models will feature a glossy Titanium finish with Bronze and Rose Gold colour options. 

The iPhone 16 Series will feature the same display size as the iPhone 15. Apple may ship the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro with a 6.3-inch OLED display and the iPhone 16 Plus and iPhone 16 Pro Max with a 6.9-inch OLED display. The base model iPhone 16 and 16 Plus will feature 60Hz refresh rate whereas the Pro and Pro Max models will have 120Hz refresh rate. The Pro-model iPhones are expected to ship with narrow bezels for more premium looks.

Apple will use the Apple A18 Bionic chip in the base and Plus models, whereas the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models will be shipped with A18 Pro chipset. All four devices will be shipped with iOS 18 and Apple Intelligence out of the box.

Do note that Apple is yet to announce the original launch date of iPhone 16.
