Chinese Smartphone Brands Plan to Launch 7500mAh Battery, 320W Charging Technology

While big tech giants like Apple and Samsung are struck at 25W charging, Chinese smartphone brands are testing 7,500mAh battery capacity and 320W fast charging technology.

While US-based smartphone brands like Samsung, Google, and Apple are still stuck at 25W or maximum 45W charging, Chinese smartphone makers are planning to launch mobile phones with 7,500mAh battery and 320W fast charging technology. 

Realme is launching Supersonic, the world's fastest charging technology, on August 14. It is confirmed to feature 320W fast charging speed. On the other hand, Xiaomi is reportedly working on 7,500mAh battery technology. We talk more about them in this article. 

Realme 320W Fast Charging

Realme is showcasing the World's fastest charging technology on August 14 which will feature 320W charging speed. According to an official teaser from Realme, the fast charging technology will be able to juice the smartphone battery from 0 to 55 percent in around two minutes, 87 percent in just four minutes and 100 percent in over four seconds. 

The feature is expected to arrive brand's upcoming flagship, Realme GT 7 Pro. To remind you, the Realme GT 5 featured 240W fast charging technology that was launched as Realme GT Neo 6. 

Xiaomi 7,500mAh Battery Technology

Digital Chat Station has claimed on Weibo that Xiaomi is developing a new range of fast-charging batteries with capacities such as 5,500mAh, 6,000mAh, 7,000mAh, and even a 7500mAh cell. All these battery units are currently under development. 

The tipster further claims that Xiaomi is working on a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support and a 5,500mAh battery with 100W charging support. A 6,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging support which can be fully charged from 0 to 100% in just 30 minutes is also under development.

Xiaomi is also testing a 6,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging which can fully charge the device in 34 minutes. Furthermore, Xiaomi is considering a 6,500mAh battery and 100W charging combination to provide full charge in 30 minutes. 

The brand is also testing some high-capacity batteries like 7,000mAh and 7,500mAh with up to 120W and 100W charging support respectively. 

Other BBK companies like OPPO and OnePlus are also developing smartphones with big batteries and faster charging. 

Currently, Xiaomi has Redmi Note 13 Pro+ and Redmi K70 Ultra with the highest capacity battery in the brand’s lineup with a capacity of 5500mAh. Both these phones also support fast charging up to 120W which claims a 0 to 100% charging time of just 24 minutes.
