Realme's Vice President confirmed that the GT 7 Pro will launch in India, however, the exact launch date is still behind the curtains. The phone will go official by the end of the year, most probably after the launch of the Snapdragon Gen 4 SoC in October.

Ahead of its launch, Realme has confirmed that it is revealing the World's fastest charging technology on August 14. The Chinese tech brand is expected to announce 300W fast charging technology at the launch event. Here's everything we know about it.

Realme 300W Fast Charging Technology

If reports are to be believed, the 300W fast charging technology, that Realme plans to unveil on August 14 will feature first on Realme GT 7 Pro. This might be true because the previously launched Realme GT 5 also featured 250W charging.

A Chinese source has revealed on Weibo that the upcoming Realme GT 7 Pro will come with an IP-69-rated build to protect the phone from dust and water.

Realme's Global Marketing Director Francis Wong, in June, confirmed that the brand is working on 300W charging in an interview. He revealed that the technology will help to charge the phone from zero to eighty percent in under three minutes and fully charge the battery in under five minutes.

Realme has already launched the GT Neo 5, which supports 240W charging to charge the phone from zero to twenty percent in under 80 seconds, zero to fifty percent in under four minutes, and zero to hundred percent in less than ten minutes.

However, Realme is not the first to showcase a 300W charging solution in its phone; the brand's Chinese competitor, Redmi has already showcased the 300W technology in February 2023 on the improved version of the Redmi Note 12 Discover Edition. Redmi has juiced up a 4,100mAh battery in less than five minutes, but Xiaomi has not released this phone yet.

On the other hand, Xiaomi is also rumoured to launch a smartphone with 7,500mAh battery with 100W charging speed.
