Apple’s Back to School 2025 Offer Returns with Free AirPods or Apple Pencil in India

Apple has officially launched its 2025 Back to School programme in India, giving students and educators an opportunity to get premium accessories either for free or at a heavily discounted price. The offer is live from June 17 to September 30, 2025, and is available both online through the Apple Store for Education and at Apple retail stores across the country.

Big Discounts Based on the Device You Buy

This year’s offer follows a discount model. If you purchase an eligible iPad or Mac, Apple will give you a fixed discount on a range of accessories. The amount depends on the device: for the iPad Air and iPad Pro, the discount is Rs 10,900, while buyers of the MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and iMac get Rs 17,900 off.

Perks for iPad Buyers

Students buying the iPad Air, which starts at Rs 54,900, or the iPad Pro, which starts at Rs 89,900, can use the Rs 10,900 discount to get an Apple Pencil Pro for free. Alternatively, you can opt for the new AirPods 4, which are priced at Rs 12,900, by paying a nominal extra Rs 2,000. Accessories like the Magic Keyboard for iPad or the Magic Mouse are not eligible for this iPad-specific offer.

Bonus Accessories with Mac Purchases

Those investing in a MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, or iMac will get Rs 17,900 off on accessories. This means you can get the AirPods 4 with ANC — which retail at Rs 17,900 — at no cost. You also have the option to pick the AirPods Pro 2, priced at Rs 24,900, by paying the remaining Rs 7,000. The Magic Mouse and Magic Keyboard with Touch ID are also included in this promotion, but Apple Pencil Pro, AirPods 4 (non-ANC), and Magic Keyboard for iPad are excluded for Mac buyers.

Important Eligibility and Terms

To make use of the offer, you’ll need to verify your student or educator status during checkout. The offer is limited to one Mac and one iPad per eligible person and does not apply to the iPad Mini, iPad 10th Gen, Mac Mini, Mac Studio, Mac Pro, or any refurbished devices.
