Toyota has launched a special edition variant of the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 to celebrate their 10 consecutive wins at the Dakar Rally. The vehicle is named ‘10th Victory Edition’.

The Toyota Land Cruiser 10th Victory Edition is based on the Black Edition variant of the SUV, which in itself, is a special edition over the normal Land Cruiser. Most of the design elements like the blacked-out front grille, skid plates and mud flaps of Victory Edition are borrowed from Black Edition. The vehicle also gets new blacked-out 18-inch alloy wheels to enhance its appearance. However, the interior of the SUV remains unchanged and follows a black and beige theme like the Black Edition

Propelling the SUV is a 3.5-litre turbocharged V6 motor, which churns out 415hp and is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle is equipped with Toyota’s 4WD system to tackle various terrains. Unlike India, there is no diesel engine on this special edition of the Land Cruiser.

This new special edition of the SUV is available exclusively in the UAE (United Arab Emirates). It retails for AED 3,19,900 which roughly translates to Rs 72.45 lakh. There is no news of this vehicle making its way to our shores anytime soon. However, we do have the standard LC300 on sale in our country, carrying an ex-showroom price of Rs 2.10 crore. The SUV is brought to India via the CBU route- one of the primary reasons behind its high price tag.
