Following the steps of the Mahindra Thar 5-door, the Force Gurkha will also be offered with the same layout soon. Force Motors teased their upcoming off-roading SUV on social media, which indicates that the launch will take place soon.
So, let’s get rolling with the expected features of the upcoming five-door version of the Force Gurkha.
Force Gurkha 5-Door: Exterior Design
The five-door version of the Force Gurkha retains the overall silhouette, design language, and the imposing appeal of the three-door version. Speaking of three-door, this version will also get a makeover soon.
Aside from that, the front fascia of the five-door version has sporty circular LED headlamps, LED DRLs and a black grille with vertical slats, which have a ‘GURKHA’ nameplate embossed on it. The setup of this front fascia is also seen on the three-door version.
However, the Pune-based automobile manufacturer decided to make the five-door version distinctive from the three-door version. That includes a roof rack with a jerry can holder, a rear ladder, a snorkel and a fresh alloy wheel design.
There were, however, no glimpses of the rear section of the Gurkha 5-door, but we expect that the overall design of the rear will be the same with some minor differences.
Given that it will be an extended version of the three-door Gurkha; it should be safe to assume that the five-door version may offer five and seven-seater configurations.

Force Gurkha 5-Door: Specifications
There are no official details about the powertrain(s) of the Force Gurkha. But the present iteration of the Force Gurkha is powered by a Mercedes-Benz-sourced 2.6-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-diesel engine, which is tuned to churn out 89.84bhp and 250Nm of torque, which powers all four wheels. However, we expect a tuned powertrain for the five-door Force Gurkha.
Plus, the three-door Force Gurkha is limited to the five-speed manual transmission. The smaller version of the Gurkha has a coil spring suspension at the front and rear, and braking duties are taken care of by the disc-drum brakes.
We, however, expect some changes in mechanical offerings on the five-door version of the Force Gurkha.
Force Gurkha 5-Door: Features
As per sources and news, the five-door Gurkha is likely to get a 12V power outlet, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, front power windows, a tyre pressure monitoring system, a digital instrument cluster, and so on.
Additionally, we are expecting that several in-demand features of the Gurkha 3-door will be carried over to the five-door iteration.
Force Gurkha 5-Door: Market Positioning
Since this will be a five-door version of the Force Gurkha, it will directly lock horns with the five-door version of the Mahindra Thar and the Maruti Suzuki Jimny. That said, we expect a similar pricing to its rivals.
