Ducati has launched its latest naked superbikes, Streetfighter V4 & V4S in India. The V4 is priced at Rs 24.6 Lacs, while the V4S has two colour-based variants. One is priced at Rs 27.8 lakh for the Ducati Red colour, while the other is priced at Rs 28 lakh for the Nero Grey option.  All are ex-showroom figures.

Now let’s take a detailed look at other specifications of the bike.

Noticeable Highlights

There is no major build or design change in these bikes as compared to the previous versions. However, the new iterations now get a new TFT digital screen instrument cluster.

Besides that, the Streetfighter V4 & V4S follow a typical Ducati design language with sharply pointed LED headlights, muscular and a little bigger in the capacity (17 Litres) fuel tank and underbelly exhaust.

Propelling Duties

The propelling duties on these bikes are taken care of by a 1103cc, V4 liquid-cooled Desmosedici Stradale engine that produces a whopping 208hp at 13,000 RPM & 123Nm at 9,500 RPM. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quick shifter.

Suspension, Tyres & Brakes

There is a difference in both variants of the bike. The base Streetfighter V4 gets Showa-sourced big piston forks at the front and Sachs mono-shock at the rear. Further, the top-spec V4S model gets electrically adjustable premium Ohlins NIX30 front forks and Ohlins TTX36 mono-shock at the front and rear, respectively.

The braking duties are handled by twin 330mm discs at the front and a 245mm disc at the rear, accompanied by a dual-channel ABS.

The Streetfighter V4 has 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends. The V4S gets same-size Aluminum wheels for weight saving. The front tyre is 120 section, and the rear is 200 section Pirelli rubber on both bikes.

Direct Rivals

The Ducati Streetfighter V4 & V4S compete against the Kawasaki Ninja Z H2 and BMW S 1000 RR.
