The German automobile manufacturer BMW Group recently announced its collaboration with a digital service company, Tata Technologies. This joint venture aims to establish IT and automotive software development hubs in these Indian states- Chennai, Bengaluru and Pune. The main development and operations activities will be carried out in Bengaluru and Pune, whereas the business IT solution-related activities will be in Chennai. The indigenous IT firm will assist in BMW Group’s strategically planned expansion of software coding capabilities across global IT hubs and 24/7 operations.
Moreover, hundreds of trained and experienced professionals from Tata Technologies have set a goal to deliver robust and immediate contributions to the projects running under this JV. As per the Press release of Tata Technologies, this JV aims to achieve rapid growth, as soon as possible.
As far as automotive software is concerned, it comprises digital services, infotainment, and automated driving.
