Hero at EICMA 2024: Check out their new motorcycles
Hero Xtreme 250R
The 125cc Hero Xtreme received praise for its design, performance and value for money. Following the success of the 125R, Hero has now unveiled a larger-engine version of this motorcycle.
The Hero Xtreme 250R, which is positioned in the naked sports bike category, is built on a trellis frame and features a 250cc liquid-cooled Dual Overhead Camshaft (DOHC) engine with a four-valve system. The headlining features are 29 bhp of power and 25 Nm of torque. On par with the extreme 250cc motorcycles!
The bike is capable of completing 0-60 kmph in 3.2 seconds.
The bike boasts a big-looking fuel tank, a slip seat and a Karizma-style dual-tone exhaust that angles slightly upward. It is equipped with an upside-down front suspension and a 6-step adjustable rear monoshock. Hero claims a 50-50 weight distribution, which should help with good handling dynamics. The radial front and rear tyres add to the enhanced grip.
The motorcycle also includes a switchable ABS system. The headlight is LED-based with DRLs and the instrument cluster offers features like a lap timer, drag timer and turn-by-turn navigation.
