2025 KTM 390 Adventure Series Prices OUT! Watch Out Himalayan Fans

If you were waiting for KTM to reveal the prices of its new small-capacity adventure tourer motorcycles, you are in luck. KTM’s Indian arm has finally revealed the prices of its updated 250 Adventure, 390 Adventure X and 390 Adventure models. At first glance, it seems that Royal Enfield’s Himalayan 450 will face serious competition in the coming months. 

For all those unaware, the new small displacement single-cylinder KTM Adventure motorcycles are based on the latest generation single-cylinder Duke engine platforms. The chassis, however, is all new and KTM promises superior off-road performance while maintaining an impressive road behaviour over the outgoing models. New headlamps, better electronics, cruise control, quickshifter and a lot more are now present as part of the standard kit. 

What’s even better is that the 390 Adventure is available in two flavours – one suited for long-range touring and the other for off-road trails. The 250 Adventure, on the other hand, is more suited for touring riders who don’t seek a lot of power. 

KTM single-cylinder adventure motorcycle prices

Let’s list down the ex-showroom prices of the KTM single-cylinder adventure tourers.

KTM 250 Adventure – INR 2.6 lakh

KTM 390 Adventure X – INR 2.91 lakh

KTM 390 Adventure – INR 3.68 lakh

Note that KTM India has discontinued the older generations of the 390 Adventure and 250 Adventure motorcycles.

A brief elaboration of the bikes in question

The KTM 250 Adventure is built as a more accessible tourer that can do a fair bit of off-roading. Armed with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels, a new chassis and the new engine borrowed from 250 Duke that makes 31 hp of peak power and 25 Nm of peak torque, the 250 Adventure is a capable long-distance tourer for India’s mixed roads. The new bodywork gives it LED projector headlamps and a 5-inch TFT display for instrumentation. Other miscellaneous features include an 825 mm seat height, three riding modes and a bi-directional quickshifter. 

The 390 Adventure X is the logical step up from the 250 variant, offering the 390 Duke’s LC4c engine that makes 46 hp of peak power and 39 Nm of peak torque. You still get the 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels, a bi-directional quickshifter, all LED projector headlamps, non-adjustable suspension, riding modes and 825 mm seat height. 

The real deal for off-road enthusiasts is the 390 Adventure – a motorcycle that mates the LC4c engine with a brand-new steel trellis frame, fully adjustable suspension, traction control, cruise control and bi-directional quickshifter. Since this is aimed at hardcore off-roading, KTM is offering this bike with a 21-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel, both featuring tubeless spoke rims.
