Images of the 2025 fourth-generation BMW X3 have been circulating online before its official global debut. The images reveal many design changes over the previous generation of the SUV.
At the front, the BMW X3 now gets a reprofiled kidney grille, which is expected to be similar to the new-age BMW cars. Other than the polarising (as assumed) design of the grille, the SUV also gets newly designed LED headlights, alongside the new L-shaped LED DRLs. The design language remains sleek and sharp while maintaining a bold appearance.
The lower front too, has been redesigned with a new bumper, which now gets brushed silver elements, creating an attractive contrast look. The side profile of the X3 doesn’t get busy cuts and creases and remains fairly clean with new flap-style door handles.
The interior of the car is also expected to get an overhaul. As seen on the ongoing BMW cars, the 2025 BMW X3 is also expected to get a dual-curved display- one for an infotainment unit and another for a digital instrument cluster. Besides that, other features onboard will include a wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Harman Kardon surround sound system, ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, and more. The brand will also offer a newly designed steering wheel and several upholstery materials and colour options.
The car is expected to have various powertrain options: petrol, diesel, and hybrid. In addition, an electric version is also expected to be added to the lineup later.
The 2025 BMW X3 is expected to make its India debut later this year or early next year in 2025. The ongoing BMW X3 in India carries a price tag of Rs 68.5 lakh, ex-showroom. So we can expect the new car’s pricing to be higher as it will be a new generation.
As for rivals in India, this German SUV will continue to lock horns with the likes of the Audi Q5, Volvo XC60, Land Rover Discovery Sport, and Mercedes Benz GLC, to name a few.
