As 2025 comes to an end, Apple is looking back on a busy year filled with new product launches. From the affordable iPhone 16e to the ultra-thin iPhone Air, the company rolled out devices across multiple price segments. Sales numbers also suggest strong demand, with the iPhone 17 series already seeing record-breaking performance. Going into 2026, Apple does not seem to be slowing down, as several new launches are expected early next year.
iPhone 17e expected in early 2026
After the iPhone 16e, Apple is likely to continue its budget-friendly iPhone lineup with the iPhone 17e. Reports suggest the phone could launch in February 2026. It is expected to get a performance boost with the new A19 chip, which is also used in Apple’s flagship models.
On the camera side, the iPhone 17e may feature an upgraded 18-megapixel front camera with Center Stage support. The back camera is likely to remain a single 48-megapixel sensor. In terms of design, slimmer screen borders are expected, while the notch design may stay the same.
iPad lineup set for upgrades
Apple is also preparing updates for its iPad range. The iPad Mini 8 is rumored to get an OLED display, although the refresh rate is expected to stay at 60Hz. The tablet may run on the A19 Pro chip, bringing better performance. These upgrades could lead to a price increase of around $100 compared to the previous model.
The standard iPad is also expected to get a refresh with the launch of the iPad 12. This model is likely to switch to the A19 chip, a big jump from the A16 used in the current version. Pricing is expected to remain the same, similar to the older model that launched in India at Rs 34,900.
New and updated MacBooks coming
Apple may also expand its MacBook lineup in 2026. One of the most interesting rumors is a budget MacBook aimed at students and first-time buyers. This laptop could use the A18 Pro chip from the iPhone 16 Pro to keep costs low while offering solid performance. It is expected to have a smaller display than the 13.6-inch MacBook Air and could be priced around $599 in the US.
At the same time, Apple is likely to refresh its MacBook Air with the new M5 chip. After bringing M5 processors to its Pro models, Apple is expected to pass those improvements to the Air lineup in early 2026, focusing on better efficiency and performance without major design changes.
