Xiaomi has launched its mid-range smartphone, the Xiaomi 14 Civi in India. This is a rebadged version of China’s recently launched Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro, and also marks the debut of Civi series in India. The phone competes against other Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 phones including the Poco F6 5G and Realme GT Neo 6. The Xiaomi 14 Civi features flat metallic sides and comes in three colour options - Matcha Green that has a vegan leather finish on the back, whereas the other two, Shadow Black and Cruise Blue colour options have a glass back design. It is just 7.4mm thin.
The device flaunts a 6.55-inch 12-bit AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, HDR 10+ certification, a high refresh rate of 120Hz, peak brightness of 3000 nits and all this is protected under Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
The device features a triple camera setup in a circular camera module with Leica branding at the back. It has a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide, and a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom capability. On the front, it features dual 32MP shooters for selfies and video calls.
The phone runs on Android 14-based HyperOS. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor that is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The brand promises to offer 4 Android OS updates and 5 years of security patches. To power all this up, the Xiaomi 14 CIVI has a 4700mAh battery and 67 watts of fast charging support.
Xiaomi 14 Civi: Price in India, Sale Date
The phone is available in two variants - 8GB+256GB variant priced at Rs 42,999 and 12+512GB variant priced at Rs 47,999. The device will go on sale on June 20, 2024 via Flipkart, Xiaomi e-store and offline retailers in India. The company is offering Rs 3,000 discount for ICICI credit card users for the first sale.
