Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is Coming to India

Vivo is all set to enter the foldable smartphone market in India. Vivo X Fold 3 Pro makes it debut on June 6, 2024 at an expected price of Rs.1,50,000.

In 2023, a number of companies, including Samsung, Oppo, and Techno, introduced their foldable smartphones to the market. Now, in the second quarter of 2024, Vivo has decided to follow its counterparts and is all set to enter the foldable smartphone market. Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is all set to launch on June 6, 2024 at an expected price of Rs.1,50,000. the phone boasts a Carl Zeiss lens, AI technology, and a flagship-grade Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro features the following main specifications:

Build and Finish: Vivo claims that the upcoming smartphone is going to be India's slimmest and lightest fold phone. It is 11.2mm thick and weighs 236g, which makes it 2.2mm slimmer and 17g lighter than the Samsung Fold 5. As per the official website, the phone will be available in only one colour option(Celestial Black). Carbon fiber makes up the hinge, and the phone is IPX8 water-resistant. It has dual-sim support without a memory card slot. 

Display and Battery: The main display is an 8.03-inch 2K LPTO display with 413 pixels per inch density. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 1 billion colors. The outer display/cover display is 6.53 inches, and it’s an AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Both displays have 4500 nits of brightness. 

Performance and OS: Vivo powers the smartphone with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which is based on a 4 nanometer architecture, and runs Android 14 (Origin OS4). The SoC boasts eight cores in total: the main core operates at 3.3 GHz, three cores at 3.2 GHz, two cores at 3.0 GHz, and two additional cores at 2.3 GHz. The company uses the UFS 4.0 storage type for fast data transfer and processing, combining this processor with the Adreno 750 for all graphics-intensive tasks.

Camera: The Vivo X series always comes with a Carl Zeiss lens. The Vivo X Fold3 Pro also comes with Zeiss optics and a Zeiss T* coating. The main camera is a 50MP sensor with an f1.7 aperture; the periscope camera is 64MP with a f2.6 aperture; and the ultra-wide-angle camera is 50MP with a f2.0 aperture. Both the internal and external selfie cameras are 32 MP, and they can shoot only Full HD videos.
