Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Leak Reveals Ultra-Slim Design, 200MP Camera, Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge has had its major specs spilt, courtesy of tipster Evan Blass. Posted on X (formerly Twitter), the information indicates the phone will be focusing on portability with premium performance. The Galaxy S25 Edge is said to have an extremely thin 5.8mm body and weighs only 163g, making it one of the thinnest and lightest premium phones available.

The phone will feature a titanium bezel and Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 for extra strength. It should come in three finishes: Titanium Icy Blue, Titanium Jet Black, and Titanium Silver. Even with its thin profile, Samsung is rumored to be packing the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, also found in other Galaxy S25 series phones, for flagship performance.

Blass' leak is the first to verify these exact specs, but earlier FNNews reports indicate a timeline for launch. The phone should launch in South Korea on May 13, with pre-orders between May 14 and 20. Sales might begin on May 23 in South Korea and China, with a global release, including the US, to probably follow on May 30. A sighting on India's BIS certification site also hints at an imminent Indian launch.

The US pricing should fall somewhere between $1,099 and $1,199 (around ₹94,000 to ₹1,02,600), although official figures are yet to be finalized.

The Galaxy S25 Edge is said to be released with 12GB of RAM and storage of 256GB. Its highlight can perhaps be its camera configuration: a 200MP rear sensor with OIS, potentially being the same ISOCELL HP2 sensor that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will use. A 12MP front sensor is also anticipated.

Still, the thin build might translate into a smaller battery. Rumors point to a 4,000mAh battery, which could be a cause for concern in terms of battery life for heavy users.
