Samsung Galaxy M55 and M15: Launch Date, Specifications and Pricing

The Samsung Galaxy M55 is expected to cater to buyers with a mid-range budget, whereas the Galaxy M15 will cater to those with a strict budget.

Samsung has finally confirmed the launch date of two highly-anticipated devices, the Samsung Galaxy M55 and the Samsung Galaxy M15 for the Indian market. These devices were already launched in a few markets. But now, they will enter our shores. The Samsung Galaxy M55 is expected to cater to buyers with a mid-range budget, whereas the Galaxy M15 will cater to those with a strict budget. 

Samsung Galaxy M55 Specifications

The M55 will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz high refresh rate, and a peak brightness level of 1000 nits. The M55 has a 5000 mAh battery which supports a 45W fast charger. There will be triple rear cameras on the back of the M55 including a main 50MP camera with OIS support, 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro camera. The selfie shooter is a 50MP unit. The device will run Android 14-based One UI 6.1 out of the box.

Samsung Galaxy M15 Specifications

The M15 is expected to have a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset and a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. This phone also has a triple-rear-camera setup, including a 50MP main rear camera, a 5MP ultrawide angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. The selfie shooter on the M15 is a 13MP unit. This device features a 6,000 mAh battery, which supports a 25W fast charger. The device will run Android 14-based One UI 6 out of the box.

Pricing and Availability

Multiple leaks and rumours suggest that the M15 could start at Rs 13499 for the base 4/128GB variant whereas the M55 will start from Rs 26,999 for the base 8/128GB variant. These are not confirmed prices in any way. That will be confirmed only at the official event on April 8, 2024.
