Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has launched a new entry-level budget smartphone globally named as Redmi 14C. The device features a shining start design with a circular modular camera at the back. The brand promises to offer many significant improvements over its predecessor, the Redmi 13C. The device has been currently announced globally and is expected to launch soon in India. Let's take a look at the Redmi 14C specifications and availability. 

Redmi 14C Specifications

The Redmi 14C boasts a 6.88-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 600 nits of peak brightness. The device has a dual rear camera setup in a circular module. The primary camera is a 50MP unit with f/1.8 aperture accompanied by a secondary rear camera that the brand has not specified. For selfies and video calls, the device has a 13MP front-facing camera.

The Redmi 14C is powered by a MediaTek Helio G81-Ultra processor and runs Android 14-based Xiaomi HyperOS out of the box. The device features up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage. It can also expand up to 8GB RAM using Virtual RAM technology. The device draws power from a 5160mAh battery and supports 18W charging. The device is available in four colours - Sage Green with a leather back finish, Midnight Black, Dreamy Purple, and Starry Blue.

The Redmi is available in four variants globally:

4GB RAM and 128GB Storage

4GB RAM and 256GB Storage

6GB RAM and 128GB Storage

8GB RAM and 256GB Storage

The Redmi 14C has launched in Vietnam and starts at 3,090,000 VND (around Rs 10,500) for the base model. We expect it to launch it at a similar pricing in India.
