Realme GT 6T Debuts in India; Company Calls it "Gaming-Centric"

Realme has launched its latest midrange gaming-centric smartphone, the Realme GT 6T in India at a starting price of Rs 30,999. The phone will be on sale on Amazon from May 29, 2024.

Realme GT 6T: Build and Design 

Looking at the images of the device, we can safely say that it has a curved glossy dual-tone gradient glass panel on the back with three circular modules on the upper half for the cameras and a flashlight housing. The volume rockers and power button can be seen on the right side of the device and the bottom houses a speaker, a microphone, a USB-C port, and a sim tray. The back panel looks curved, so it is deemed that it’ll enhance the in-hand feel of the device. On the bottom right of the back panel, the Realme logo can be seen in a vertical layout.

Realme GT 6T: Specifications and Pricing

The device boasts a 6.78-inch 1.5K BOE S1 8T LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 6000 nits of peak brightness. All of this is protected under Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

Powering the Realme GT 6T is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen3 chipset and it is running on the latest Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0. 

There are two rear cameras, the primary camera is a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS and the secondary camera is an 8MP ultrawide Sony IMX355 sensor. The Selfie shooter (front camera) is a 32MP Sony IMX615 sensor. The device also has a 5500mAh cell with support of 120W fast charging.

The device gets four variants; 8GB RAM 128GB storage, 8GB RAM 256GB storage, 12GB RAM 256GB storage, 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Worth mentioning point, the 128GB storage variant has UFS 3.1 storage and rest other variants have faster UFS 4.0 storage.

Besides these specifications, the device also has features like Bluetooth 5.4, IP 65 rating, NFC, stereo speakers, IR blaster, Wi-Fi 6 and more.

Realme GT 6T's price starts at Rs 30,999 and goes up to Rs 39,999. Brand is giving Rs 4,000 off as card discount and Rs 2,000 off as exchange bonus. This brings the price down by quite a lot for eligible customers.
