In the year 2018, the Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi launched the Poco F1, which became an international sensation. They offered the Snapdragon 845 Chipset for just Rs 20,000, and after that, the brand became famous for its powerful phones.

Today, the brand introduced the Poco F6 and comes with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 2, but India is still waiting for the Poco F6 Pro.

Poco F6:

The phone is not that heavy; it weighs around 179 grams and is exactly 8 mm thick. It comes with a 6.67-inch Dolby Vision AMOLED display. The display has 449 ppi and is protected with Gorilla Glass Victus.

The phone runs on Hyper OS, which is based on Android 14. The F6 version has a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, which is based on a 4nm architecture, plus it's divided into eight cores.

The main core is clocked at 3.0 GHz, the other four cores are clocked at 2.8 GHz, and the rest of the three cores are clocked at 2.4 GHz.

There is no card slot, but Poco has chosen the UFS 4.0 storage type; the base variant has 8 GB of RAM, and the top variant comes with 12 GB of RAM.

The Poco F6 has a main 50MP camera with an 8MP ultrawide camera on the rear side, and it can record videos in 4K at 30/60fps. The front camera is 20MP, and it supports only FHD video recording.

The phone comes with stereo speakers and a 5000mAh battery. You get 90W charging support to fuel up your battery.

Poco F6 Pro:

It is worth mentioning that the Poco F6 Pro is not available in India, yet.

As for specifications, the main edge over the Poco F6 is its 4000nits display. The Pro version comes with a 6.67-inch 2K display with a 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED display, and this one comes with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, but the processing speed of the Poco F6 Pro is better than other phones that come with the SD 8 Gen 2 because of its 4.0 UFS storage type.

This one comes with a 50MP main camera, which is stabilized by OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and one additional 2MP macro camera. It also has a 16MP front-facing camera.

The Pro version has the same Hyper OS software, which is based on Android 14, and a 5000mAh battery, but it comes with a 120W fast charger.

Closing Words

Both Poco F6 and F6 Pro are performance-oriented phones. Both have beautiful displays, fast storage, and flagship-level chipsets, but Poco has launched both phones at very aggressive prices. The F6 is launched at Rs 29,999, and the F6 Pro is due for launch, but the expected price is around Rs 35000.
