However, in a recent move, Google has made all these features free for all the users. It means that all the AI-powered tools including Magic Eraser, Unblur, and Portrait effect are now free for every Google user. Here's how you can use it.
Magic Eraser
A wrong photo bump can ruin a perfect picture. This app utilises AI capabilities to remove unwanted parts from any picture. Follow the steps mentioned below to use this feature:
- Open Google Photos.

Select the image you want to edit and take a backup of it.

Tap the edit button.

Select Magic Eraser.

Simply draw a circle around the unwanted object or brush that unwanted part to manually erase the object.
- That's it! The subject you selected will be removed.
Portrait Effects
This option allows you to convert a flat photo into a portrait image with a blurred background. Users can also add lighting images to the photo, and you can also adjust the intensity of background blur. Steps to do it:
1. Select the image you want to edit in Google Photo.

Tap the edit button.

Select the portrait option.

It will automatically convert a normal photo into a portrait photo; you can also slide on the bar to adjust the blur intensity.

You can also balance, add, or adjust the light.
Blur/Unblur
This option is used to add blurry background to a picture or make a photo sharp. This option is easy to access; tap the edit button, and you will get these two options just below the photo.
1. Select the image.

Select the Blur or Unblur picture.

It will automatically add a blur effect in the background or sharpen the picture; you can also slide on the bar to adjust the blur intensity.
Dynamics:
This feature will enhance the dynamic range of photos in Google Photos. It is the simplest thing to do in the Google Photos. All you have to do is tap "Edit" and you can access the option directly.
