With the recent release of the Edge 60 Fusion, Motorola is preparing to launch the Motorola Edge 60 Pro 5G in India. Although the company has not yet announced an official launch date, the phone has recently been certified by TENAA and BIS, suggesting that its launch is near.
Motorola Edge 60 Pro 5G Design (Expected)
The Motorola Edge 60 Pro 5G is likely to come with a premium build, including a faux leather back panel and a soft-edged square camera module. On the front, the device is expected to have a curved AMOLED screen with thin bezels, a punch-hole selfie camera, and an in-display fingerprint reader. Further, there are reports of the addition of a new physical button, which may be customizable for easy access to features or shortcuts.
Motorola Edge 60 Pro 5G Specifications (Expected)
The Edge 60 Pro is said to sport a huge 6.7-inch curved AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals and a flagship-quality viewing experience. Inside, the phone is said to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chip, coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The phone should be running Android 15 straight out of the box.
It will be powered by a 5,100mAh battery with 68W fast charging support, providing efficient performance with minimal downtime.
Optically, the Motorola Edge 60 Pro may sport a triple rear camera configuration with a 50MP primary sensor with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), a 10MP secondary sensor, and a 13MP ultrawide lens. On the front, the phone might pack a 20MP selfie camera.
Motorola Edge 60 Pro 5G Price and Launch Timeline (Expected)
Although Motorola has not yet made the pricing official, leaks indicate that the Edge 60 Pro 5G may sell in India at a price of around ₹31,999. If true, this puts it squarely in the upper mid-range category, with competitive features for its presumed price tag.
Regarding availability, the phone is said to release in India later this month. The recent certification of the device on India's BIS platform lends credibility to this rumor.
Until Motorola's official word on this, every bit of information is up for change — but if the grapevine is true, the Edge 60 Pro 5G may prove an enticing addition to Motorola's portfolio in 2025.
