Motorola has launched its latest mid-range smartphone in India, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro.  This phone is a successor to the Motorola Edge 40 and comes with a long list of new AI features at an attractive price. Here’s everything you need to know about Motorola’s brand-new midrange offering.

Specifications and Pricing of Motorola Edge 50 Pro

The phone has a vegan leather back panel, a metal frame, and an IP68 water and dust resistance rating also the screen is protected under Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro features a 6.7-inch 3D curved P-OLED display panel with 1.5K resolution, HDR 10+, 2000 nits of peak brightness, and 144Hz refresh rate. This display is validated by Pantone for colour accuracy.

The camera array on the back of the device houses three cameras. One of them is a 50MP sensor with Optical Image Stabilization, f1.4 aperture, and laser autofocus. The second camera is a 13MP ultrawide angle unit with a 120-degree field of view and macro capabilities. There also is a 10MP 3X telephoto zoom lens with Optical Image Stabilization. All the cameras are also validated by Pantone for colour accuracy. At the front, the device boasts a 50MP shooter inside the punchhole with f1.9 aperture for selfies and talking video calls. Looking at these specifications, the camera setup of Motorola Edge 50 Pro seems very versatile.

The device has a Snapdragon 7 Gen3 processor which is based on a 4nm manufacturing process. It also has a 4500mAh battery with 125W Turbopower fast charging support, a segment-first 50W wireless charging, and a 10W reverse wireless charging support. The brand claims 0 to 100 per cent charging time of just 18 minutes using the 125W Turbopower brick which is provided inbox with the 12/256GB variant of the device. Whereas, the 8/256GB variant gets a 68W charger inside the box.

Motorola is shipping this phone with Android 14-based Hello UI and the brand promises to deliver 3 years of Android and 4 years of security updates. The device features a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support.

The device is offered in 3 colour options, Luxe Lavender, Black Beauty, and Moonlight Pearl and it has 2 RAM and storage configurations. The 8/256 GB variant is priced at Rs 31,999 and the 12/256 GB variant costs Rs 35,999. There are some card offers up to Rs 2250 if you have HDFC bank cards.
