iQOO is all set to launch another budget device, iQOO Z9x in the Indian market really soon. This device made its global debut a while ago and is expected to debut in India, later this month.

iQOO Z9x: Build, Design and Performance

The globally launched iQOO Z9x is completely built out of plastic and has a flat body design like most new-age budget phones. The device is considerably thin at 7.9mm and weighs 199 grams. The iQOO Z9x features a 6.72-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1000 nits of peak brightness.

Powering things here is a 4 nm architecture-based Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 octa-core chipset coupled with an Adreno 710 GPU. The device will be offered in three variants 4GB/6GB/8GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The storage can also be extended up to 1TB, using the microSD card slot. The iQOO Z9x will have a battery capacity of 6,000mAh with 44-watt fast-charging (wired) support. Since this is going to be a budget offering, we expect the brand to provide a charging brick inside the box.

iQOO Z9x: Cameras

The device will be equipped with dual rear cameras and a selfie shooter. The selfie shooter will be an 8MP unit placed in the display's centre punch-hole cutout. At the same time, the rear cameras will be mounted in a module on the backside. The primary rear camera will be a 50MP unit with f/1.8 aperture and the secondary camera will be a 2MP with depth sensor.

iQOO Z9x: Noteworthy Features

Other highlighting features of the device include an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, a 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a hybrid SIM slot. This SIM slot houses a nano SIM card and a microSD card.

iQOO Z9x: Software, Launch Date and Expected Pricing

The device will be running Funtouch OS 14, based on Android 14. In terms of software support, we expect the brand to offer at least 2 Android updates and 3 years of security updates. Let’s see how things turn out to be when iQOO officially launches this device, later this month, in the Indian market. This device shares almost all its specifications with the recently launched Vivo T3x, which starts at Rs 13,499 for a 4-128GB variant. So we can expect iQOO to price this device similarly to its Vivo cousin.
