Infinix Zero 40 5G With AI Features and GoPro Mode Launched in India

Infinix has launched its mid-range phone, Zero 40 5G in India. The successor to the Zero 30 5G brings in several significant updates over its predecessor. The Infinix Zero 40 5G features Infinix AI and a GoPro mode about which we talk later. Other features of the device include 144Hz AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate SoC, 45W fast charging and more. Infinix Zero 40 5G Specifications

The Infinix Zero 40 5G boasts a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and 1300 nits peak brightness. The device also gets Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for scratch and drop protection.

The Infinix Zero 40 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate SoC that is paired with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The device runs Android 14- based XOS 14.5 out of the box and will receive two years of  Android and three years of security updates. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 45W wired, 20W wireless, and 10W reverse wireless charging. 

It gets a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM6 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and OIS support. The other two sensors are a 50MP f/2.0 ultrawide unit and a 2MP depth sensor. The device houses a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor with f/2.5 aperture in the front to take care of selfies and video calls.

The device features a GoPro mode where the Zero 40 5G can be used as a remote to control all the camera functions, all this is possible because of the pre-installed GoPro Quik application. The device has Infinix AI with features like AI wallpaper generator, AI Eraser, AI Cut Out Sticker, and more.

Other features include IP54 rating, NFC, IR blaster, JBL-tuned stereo speakers, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
