Vivo launched the X100 Series in India early this year as a camera-centric smartphone. The brand has now officially announced the launch of its upcoming flagship, Vivo X200 series. The series will replace Vivo X100 and X100 Pro models. The upcoming smartphones will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity flagship processors and have a 200MP periscope lens. Vivo X200 series Launch Date
Vivo has confirmed that it will launch the Vivo X200 series on October 12th in Beijing, China. Vivo has not confirmed the number of devices it will launch under X200 Series in China, however, based on the past launches, we speculate that the brand will launch two models in the series - Vivo X200 and the Vivo X200 Pro.
Vivo X200, X200 Pro Leaked Specifications
The Vivo X200 is expected to feature a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, while the X200 Pro may sport a larger 6.7-inch 8T LTPO curved screen with the same resolution. Both models are likely to include an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner under the display.
The Vivo X200 is rumoured to house a 5,600mAh battery with 90W wired charging support, and the X200 Pro might pack a larger 6,000mAh battery.
In terms of cameras, the X200 could feature a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 70mm periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The X200 Pro is expected to include a 50MP main lens, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 200MP periscope telephoto sensor.
Both phones are expected to be powered by MediaTek processors, with the X200 using the Dimensity 9300 and the X200 Pro using the Dimensity 9400 SoC. Additionally, both models will likely feature IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance.
