Samsung has launched the Galaxy M55s in India ahead of the festive season. It is a budget phone under Rs 20,000 that is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset and is equipped with a 50MP triple rear camera setup. The Samsung Galaxy M55s 5G comes with dual-tone finishing. It is 7.8 mm thin and weighs 180 grams. On the front, it sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ sAMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, in-display fingerprint scanner, 1000 nits peak brightness, and 1080 x 2400 resolution.
The Galaxy M55s is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor paired with an Adreno 644 GPU to handle graphic-intensive tasks. The smartphone runs Android 14 out of the box with One UI 6.1 on the top. It is promised to recieve four years of Android and five years of security updates. It is protected with Samsung’s Knox vault security.
Samsung Galaxy M55s comes with a triple camera setup on the rear. The main sensor is an optically stabilised 50-megapixel, the ultrawide camera is an 8MP, and the macro camera is 2MP sensor.
