Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy A16 soon. Gizmochina has spotted Samsung's Galaxy A16, model number SM-A166P, on the BIS certification website ahead of its launch, featuring the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC and a 6GB RAM variant. The Korean-based tech giant launched the Galaxy A15, last year in December.

Samsung Galaxy A16 Processor Details
The upcoming A16 smartphone, according to leaked information, will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core SoC, an Octa-core processor with six and two cores. The processor clocks the major six cores at 2.4GHz and the remaining two at 2.0GHz. It is a minor upgrade over the Samsung A15’s MediaTek 6100+ chipset.
As per leaked images, the Samsung Galaxy A16 scored 514 single-core points and 1,464 multicore points with the 6GB RAM version of the smartphone. Its predecessor had 4GB of RAM in the base variant. So, there is a chance that the Galaxy A16 may feature a 4GB RAM option also.
Samsung A16 Expected Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A16 will run Android 14 OS with One UI 6 skin, which is clear from the testing image. Previous leaks suggest the Galaxy A16 will feature a triple camera setup at the back. The main camera will be a 50MP sensor, coupled with a 5MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, there is a 13MP selfie shooter. The Galaxy A16 is expected to feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ 90Hz display to view content.
