Nikon Z6 III Launched in India With World's First Partially-Stacked Sensor

Nikon has launched its Z6III full-frame hybrid mirrorless camera with world's first partially stacked CMOS sensor. It has launched at Rs 2,47,990 in India and come with inductory offers worth Rs 27,000. Nikon claims that the Z6 III has industry's brightest EVF ( Electronic View Finder) with 4,000 nits of brightness.

Thanks to the new 24.5 MP sensor and the EXPEED 7 processing engine, it can incorporate multiple high-speed processing circuits, stacked in layers above and below the sensor's imaging area. This is the same technology used by  Nikon's Z8 and Z9 models. The Z6 III is for both, creators and professionals.

High-speed Shooting Performance

Similar to the Z9 and Z8, the new Nikon Z6 III boasts 'Pre Release Capture', a feature that records up to one second of images at 120 fps and 60 fps upon shutter release. The camera captures full-frame images at 24.5 MP. The Z6III's EVF display minimises frame skipping and ensures smoother subject movement, making it easier to chase during continuous high-speed shooting at 20 frames. This feature is useful in wildlife and sports photography. 

High-Resolution Video Recording

This Nikon Z6 III is capable of shooting videos in 6K N-Raw and Pro-Res mode; it can also shoot 4K videos at 60p, 30p, 25p, and 24p. In UHD resolution, you can shoot for up to 125 minutes with a single charge. The Z6 III has support for 10-bit Full HD/240p H.265 video recording. It can also shoot slow motion videos at 120fps. Photographers can also shoot high-res images up to 96 MP. It boasts a 3.2'' fully articulated 2.1M dot rear screen that allows you to access all the settings and playback recorded videos and photos. If you're tired of the same shutter sound from your camera, you can customise it.

Physical Overview and Battery

This camera is compatible with EN-EL 15c, EN-EL 15b, and EN-EL 15a rechargeable Li-ion batteries, and it can only charge EN-EL 15c and EN-EL 15b batteries using the EH-8P AC adapters. The Nikon Z6III camera body weighs 670 g and approx. 760 g with battery and memory card (without cap and cover).
