HONOR 200 Series Confirmed to Launch on July 18 in India

HTech has confirmed that it is launching HONOR 200 5G Series on July 18 in India via Amazon. The HONOR 200 and 200 Pro are likely to go on sale during the Amazon Prime Day Sale starting on July 21. HONOR plans to target the mid-range segment with the 200 Series while launching the Pro model as a flagship killer.

The brand is teasing the device as an AI portrait master which indicates that the new lineup will be all about the camera. HONOR 200 Specifications

The Honor 200 flaunts a 6.7-inch full HD+ curved OLED display with a resolution of 1200 x 2664 pixels,  120Hz refresh rate, 4000 nits peak brightness, and 3,840Hz PWM dimming. It is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. There is an Adreno 720 GPU to handle graphic duties on the device.

It may run Magic OS 8 based on Android 14 out of the box. The HONOR 200 uses a 50MP Sony IMX906 sensor with OIS support, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 50MP telephoto lens on the back, and a 50MP Sony IMX906 sensor on the front to shoot selfies.

It packs a 5,200mAh battery and supports 100W wired and 5W wired reverse charging. 

HONOR 200 Pro Specifications

The HONOR 200 Pro has the same display specifications as that of the HONOR 200. The HONOR 200 Pro have an iPhone-like Dynamic Island pill design on the front, whereas the HONOR 200 features a punch-hole. Both devices have an in-display fingerprint scanner. 

The Pro model is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset that is paired with 16GB of RAM, 1TB of internal storage, and Adreno 735 graphics to handle graphics-intensive tasks. The HONOR 200 Pro series boasts a triple camera setup on the rear, featuring a 50 MP OmniVision OV50H sensor, a 12 MP ultrawide-angle camera, and a 50 MP telephoto camera with a 2.5x zoom capacity. On the front, it features a 50 MP selfie camera, accompanied by a 2 MP depth camera. 

The Honor 200 Pro packs a 5,200mAh battery unit that supports 100W wired, 66W wireless, and 5W reverse wired and wireless charging.

HONOR 200, 200 Pro Expected Price:

The HONOR 200 is available in China at a starting price of 2699 Yuan i.e. around Rs 31,000 whereas the 200 Pro is available for 3499 Yuan i.e. around Rs 40,176. We speculate that the HONOR 200 may launch at around Rs 35,000 whereas the HONOR 200 Pro may launch somewhere between Rs 45,000 to Rs 50,000 in India.
